With two airports to choose from, intriguing Marrakech or Agadir at its northern most tip, Morocco is a country vibrant in colour and awash with the distinctive aroma of spices, mix this with its cosmopolitan feel and bazaar style open air markets and you may be able to conjure up a picture of what the Moroccan culture truly has to offer. The main beach resort here is Agadir with ten-kilometer stretch of safe sandy beaches where you can try your hand at riding a camel, you cannot leave without giving it a go! If you wonder into the town there is an abundance of shops and mouthwatering eateries waiting for you to sample their wares.
Eating Out
Beleive it or not you can even get Pizza hut pizza in Morocco, but if you would rather opt for something different there are a huge variety of local foods to try and all at very reasonable prices. Tanjine (meat and veg served in a clay pot), couscous and salad are on most menus, choose where you wish to eat it, at a beach side cafe bar or in a lush Moroccan restaurant.
Things to Do
Take a camel ride in the Sahara desert, or haggle at the local market for rugs, jewelled tiles and potteries. For something a little more exciting try your hand at white water rafting.
Important Information
10 year British passport is required with a minimum of 6 months validity from the date of return.
